Squeaky wheel

Well I guess I am the squeaky wheel and if that is the way it has to be so be it. Today I got a call back from the ESL teacher, I guess the principal still doesn't want to be my friend. She said that they are setting up a meeting for Nov 17 and could I attend. Well yes of course I can. They also wanted to know if our social worker could attend so I called her and got her caught up on what has been happening and asked her if she could attend the meeting, she said she would so hopefully I will have a good support person there that has the knowledge and experience to back me up.

In China happenings, Coco went to the orphanage this week to meet with the director, she sent us some pictures of Lin from when she was younger that we didn't have so that was nice. Even one with Lin wearing PINK! Lin was all flustered when I showed it to her, I bet she will have something to say to Coco about sending us that picture. She also sent us some photos of the orphanage, unfortunately she couldn't visit with the kids because they are restricting visitors because of the H1N1. She will probably try to go back there for another visit before she comes to Canada, whenever that will be. She also gave me some interesting insight about how many children are at the orphanage and how many have been adopted and some other information that I did not know but is useful information.

I spent about an hour on the phone today trying to cancel Lin's appointment for next week and trying to leave a message for my doctor. I doubt that he will call me back but it is worth a try. I feel like I spent the entire day on the phone, between the social worker, the school, the doctors office recorded music and sorting things out with a new client, I got very little billable time in today. I am hopeful that tomorrow will be better. Don't I always say that?
