A week already?

I see I haven't posted anything in a week. Time goes by so quickly. I have been pretty busy working in the evening for clients and Friday evening I had to work late at my real job. So that doesn't leave much time to do interesting things to blog about. I have downloaded a couple of new books, well not really new, new to me but more like classics.

Ian has been doing a book report for school on the Great Gilly Hopkins book that I reviewed a couple of posts ago. He doesn't seem to have any major thoughts on the book, just the basics, no real emotions that I thought might be stirred up by it but then again he is not an adopted kid so that doesn't surprise me.

I did leave work early one day this week to go watch an assembly at the school, I used the opportunity to introduce myself to each of the boys teachers since I hadn't had that opportunity yet this year. Ben's teacher seems nice, she seems to be happy that all her grade 2 kids are brainiacs so she can only teach grade 3 material to all the kids. Ian's teacher was well....I'm not too sure about him...I'm still forming an opinion, Ian seems to like him though so that is good.

My mom is doing so so, I think a bit better but not great. I am hoping she will go back to the doctor on Monday.

Can't wait to watch the Street tomorrow...hopefully I can watch most of it anyway, lots of interesting stuff going on there.
